Apparently there’s a large room mimic visiting that likes pretending to be a bar? Lilian’s never been to a bar! She heads off to investigate.
Not everything can be about doing the most important thing, after all. Going to a bar-shaped room-mimic and maybe having her first beer sounds like a good way to unwind. She would have felt different about that in her old world, bars seeming like not really her scene. But she feels like Tentacled will do things somewhat differently.
And Aire leaves her there to enjoy herself.
If Lilian is important, someone who would be genuinely beneficial to the war effort, someone will come by looking for her and shake her free from her haze. If she isn't, well, Lilian can enjoy herself until the morning, when Aire will come to visit again.
After all, Lilian is ever so enjoyable a toy to play with, and is, it turns out, too durable for her to break, but is entirely amenable to being swept away by lust and pleasure. Aire would be a fool to give her up after only the once, even if it would be to such a delicious fate. And who knows, perhaps she would manage to break free in time if left to her own devices, and Aire would rather have one fewer enemy.
Yes, leaving her here permanently would be both wasteful and foolish, and the bar would likely decide to relocate eventually regardless. Unless something odd occurs, she'll be back in the morning.
