Erika knows the route to school pretty well. She walks it every day, after all. She could do it almost in her sleep, which means it's a good opportunity to get lost in her own thoughts for a while. Something new and unexpected she needs to pay attention to almost never shows up.
"I'd passed out – felt like I was dying. And... We all have our own form of premonitions, right? Mine brought me to Mars just in time to save her life."
But why wasn't it Mars, she could have helped- Well. She wouldn't have known to tell Makoto to transform. So maybe not. The new girl's cute, so she'll let it slide this time.
"I'm just glad you're okay."
"They were around here – I think they all snapped out of it and ran off." Sirens start up in the distance.
"If they're well enough to move, they'll probably be okay. The authorities will want to know what happened here."
"Don't think you know much of what was going on, either. And I'm not sure telling them would matter. Arriving too late then getting mad you took some initiative is what they do."
"They can be reasonable if you say it the right way, in my experience. I have enough details to let them know the incident is resolved."
