Up and off to do that, then.

Annatar has Precious with her - she's in her own office, though she seems to be lost in thought (or talking to Precious over osanwe) rather than reading or writing anything. 

She knocks on the door frame.

"Might we interrupt?"

She looks over and smiles. "Of course, lovely. What is it?"

"Ring theory. An idea Precious had brought up to Domhildr."

Curious noise. 

(And - 'Precious? Do you know what she's talking about?')

'The idea of observing death under controlled conditions. This is sooner than I had expected...'

'...I would have expected decades yet, of dead end after dead end and mounting frustration and fear...'

'How long ago did you talk to Domhildr?'

'Just when you had lent me out for her to make examinations of me.'

'...That was today.' She's pretty sure she hasn't missed multiple days or weeks while lost in thought again, at least. 

'I had wrapped it up in some relationship talk. I did not think she would pluck up her courage so quickly.'

'I'm not so surprised by Domhildr, she can be impulsive sometimes. But Celebrimbor...'

"What do you think of that idea?" she asks Celebrimbor. 

"I think that there is information to be gleaned, but the matter will need to be arranged with discretion."

Hm should she say something... Yeah, she's curious. 

"I find myself a - bit surprised, that you came around to the idea so quickly."

"Possibly it was a question of approach."

" - Hm?"

"She means that I sat in her lap and told her murder makes me horny."

" - Huh."

'Perhaps you should adjust your overall approach, mistress.'

"A full accounting of the costs and benefits."

'Maybe I should.'

"Domhildr is indeed a very good benefit..."

"Flatterer."

"Only the truth, dear."

Preen! "Doesn't mean she isn't flattering me."

"Important to recognize, I suppose."
