I Have A Blog Now!
Posted 2010-11-20/02:45 in category: posts about posts
Hello Internet! I have a blog now. This blog is going to contain a lot of different things, but the main ones will be Explanations and Mailbags.
Explanations are posts about my world of origin, and the broader universe as I understand it. Some people are going to disagree with a lot of what I have to say in these, but I'm going to explain what I believe and why I believe it and everyone can decide for themselves whether they think I'm right or wrong.
Mailbags are posts where I collect people's questions from the comments on other posts and answer then in a big batch. I'm not going to answer every question, because some of them will be repeats or boring or personal or bump into something I'm not supposed to disclose. (Also sometimes I just won't know the answer, but then I'll say that.) If you want your question to go in the first mailbag, put it in the comments of this post!
There will also be some personal posts about what I'm up to, if anything I get up to seems like it will make a good blog post and I decide to write about it.
A quick note on language: I don't speak English! I have translation magic that makes everything I say sound like the native language of anyone hearing it, and makes me hear everything everyone else says in my native language. It doesn't work on text, only speech. Dragon made me a computer that can read things out to me and "hear" me speaking and write down what I say in English. (Isn't Dragon awesome? She's so awesome.) So if I don't notice a pun, or make a really dumb pun of my own, or get a movie quote wrong, it's because everything on here has gone into my native language and back and sometimes it's a little worse for wear.
Another quick note I got asked to make sure was in here: everything I say on this blog is the thoughts of me, Samora, an individual human. It's not official Protectorate announcements or anything like that, even when I talk about work. It's just my own personal thoughts and opinions that might not match anyone else's.
The next post should go up in about five minutes if I'm using the Blogzone interface right.
