"Weird, I can easily imagine doing both on the same sense compared to how hard it is to imagine being both of heavy and light. I assume having supersenses is bad somehow?"

"Makes it very easy to get overwhelmed by it. Imagine everything smelling five times as strong. Witches have gotten pretty good at accomodating for that, though. The way the heavy-and-light one works is that you're heavy under most circumstances but if you ever get into a physical conflict, such as with a monster, it can bat you around really easily and you can't put as much force into getting it off you."

"Ohhh that makes more sense than it being about weight per se. ...what are the accommodations for things smelling five times as strong?"

"Alchemical noseplugs that let through air but trap most scent molecules."

"...sounds uncomfortable to have to deal with forever for two points. What else have we got?"

"Alchemical earplugs, approximately-artifice glasses, fabric that's extremely smooth against oversensitive skin, and...well, bland food."

"I have eaten. So much. Bland food. Do the glasses work amazing? I don't need glasses so badly that I couldn't go to the Scholomance but I should probably get checked for corrective lenses anyway. ...do people who start with really bad vision meet in the middle if they take the sensitive eyes one, or any equivalents?"

"I don't know if their vision is as good as people who start out with vision that doesn't need correcting, but they still end up requiring some level of accomodation."

"There's more. There's one where any changes you make as a result of your awakening--and you have to make some, with this complication--cause you incredible dysphoria, and you can't reverse them. There's one where you end up fated to at some point die at the hands of an enemy that you may not even have yet. There's one where you end up with a sort of negative charisma where you just sort of rub people the wrong way for no apparent reason."

"I don't think I want any of those things! Yikes!"

"The dying one isn't so bad, actually! Most complications stick around forever but that one has an end condition."

"Though you should know, not even necessarily because of that complication, just for its own sake, that I have a private afterlife for my followers and I can resurrect people out of it without having to spend mana."

"...I can do one where instead of activating you as a witch, I just implant the potential in a sort of awkward configuration that people who awaken witches for a living also can't reach, and you have to go through a natural awakening on your own."

"Ah, no, no, I can arrange your potential so that the choices you picked out are definitely implemented--a sort of weighting dice kind of thing. It's also possible to do for people who already have potential, but the overwhelming majority of natural awakenings have not had anyone do this for them beforehand."
