Power: Ventriloquism up to about 50 meters in any direction. Barriers intervening between him and the apparent origin of his voice are no issue, and he does not need to move his mouth. The sound emanates directionally (as though he were speaking from that point) and obeys typical physics once emitted. He perceives the origin relative to himself, not relative to Earth (so he needs a heading and range, not a description of the target origin). His comfortable volume is roughly 115 dB, equivalent to a loud shout. Louder sounds generate too much backlash to sustain for more than a few seconds.
Backlash: Allodynia: he perceives mild heat (human skin, e.g.), moisture, and mild cold (e.g. a metal surface in shade) as burning or stabbing and most texture as laceration.
