They're very helpful as a visualization aid! Especially since Seshen has maps with the sort of things that're relevant here (trade routes, alliances, ports...) already mapped out. 

It does make Seshen's information about the ship routes fairly obvious.

And even helps explain what's being moved (and therefore what's most valuable).

Semiramis would know better than her- But Adallindis has absorbed some things by dint of long exposure.

It's a valuable knowledge set. 

Yeah. Especially for a maritime power.

The Two Kingdoms have a ways to go before they can unseat Rome as the greatest maritime power... And every little bite here will absolutely help.

Adallindis is a big fan of little bites.

A thousand tiny nibbles at their opponents' flanks...

Keep them preoccupied and off balance.

Demand their attention go only where you want.

And control their reaction.

Have them dance on strings for you.

"Okay just to check- are we still talking about war or have we moved on to your plans for me tonight?"

"Well... Many goddesses govern both love and war..."

"Usually not, uh, at the same time."

"Perhaps more often than you might think."

"Guess you'll have to tutor me again."

"Contributing to your education is a great joy." She leans into Adallindis's personal space, teasingly. 

She tilts her head back invitingly.

"And you should do things that make you happy."

She steps in more, only barely not touching Adallindis. "And you make me very happy, your Highness."
