...Oh, she's really not doing ok, huh. And she's not talking to her friends about it...

Luto tries to catch Linzi's attention without making too much noise, and when she does, cocks her head and beckons. Want to come over here?

...?? her??

Sure, um, she can scoot over to join Luto, even though... they still don't have any languages in common. Oh sweet Shelyn is she being propositioned, she has no idea how to handle that at all, no, no, almost certainly not, she's overthinking things.

She does give a little slightly distracted wave. And then fidgets with her pen.

Luto smiles, then... hmmm. Maybe they can teach eachother their languages via charades, but that sounds like an entire process.

Instead she hugs the air in front of her, points at Linzi, then tilts her head. Do you want a hug?

??????????

...

......

Sure okay?

Huuug. (Luto has nice long arms and gives pretty good hugs). She hums very softly.

This is totally normal, and furthermore, does not elicit any kinds of feelings in Linzi at all. She is fine, and is definitely not being confronted with how much of a disaster lesbian she is. Nope. Absolutely not.

..... it is kind of nice though.

Hugs are nice! She sighs happily, and keeps humming.

(She'll let go of Linzi once Linzi indicates this is what she wants, but probably not before that.)

Yeah. Hm.

Uh.

.... She does still want to go back to processing, but, hugs are nice, so, maybe. Hugs while she writes? If that's okay??

Yeah, that's fine. Luto has plenty of experience hugging someone while they write. (She thinks about... being in cuddle piles with Ridaya and Uma, writing in their little notebooks and chattering to each other in the sign language that Luto is still slowly learning with Zan - it had been her idea, of course, Zan always has the good social ideas, and oh she misses Zan so much

She sighs again, and leans into the hug a bit more (not very much, though. Linzi is smol.)

She will do her absolute best to not overthink this!!! And will just do the writing thing. The writing thing with also hugs is... nice, actually.

And at almost two hours on the dot, Sivetrys sits up.

"Okay," she says, without any preamble, in Celestial, "so I think I need to - actually, first we should solve the language barrier, Jubilost does not have Tristian's patience for translating for us, and now two thirds of us just flat cannot communicate with each other without assistance, which is dangerous in a hostile tomb." She goes digging in her Bag of Holding for her scroll box dedicated to (comparatively) cheap, practical scrolls. She has at least one scroll of Comprehend Language, that'll do.

"Good morning to you, too," says Jubilost, dryly.

"Uma has Taldane, right? Then are you okay having Comprehend Languages cast on you?"

This is directed at Luto, who may or may not be used to someone suddenly going from fast asleep to Problem Solving in under a minute flat.

(Oh thank Shelyn, Sivi is awake and going to give them all a Firm Plan again. All is going to be right with the world. Living in limbo was the worst!!!!)

Both Ridaya and Zan wake up like this, it's normal to her. "That's fine with me."  (Does Linzi want to be unhugged now?)

"Share Language... probably better? Lasts longer..."

"I don't, sorry, at least not here. If you do I can cast it without wasting the scroll, though?"

Linzi does want to unhug for now, yeah. They are back to being a Serious Adventuring Party or something. But she does give Luto a small smile before scootching away.

"Is that wise? Don't you only get one of those get out of scroll loss free per sleep cycle? Pay her the amount in coin, cast something more meaningful with your circles."

....

It's so annoying when he's right.

".... Okay, yeah, can I just buy the scroll off of you, if you have one. And then cast it."

(She smiles back at Linzi.)

(Smug hmph of being acknowledged as right.)

...Zan likes having hers to use with her vestments, but... they can always buy a new one. But more importantly...

"We have one... it's divine. Can you. use it?"

"Ah. No." She might be able to pull it off, but all of her practice at weird scrolls is weird arcane scrolls. She's literally never tried to use a divine scroll before, and now is not a good time for learning how. That is usually Tristian's job, when it comes to divine scrolls. Well, Linzi can sometimes make weird scrolls work - she supposes that while they're down a cleric, divine scrolls count as weird.

She switches to Taldane. "Hey, Linzi, do you think you could cast from a divine Share Language scroll?"

"Pr...obably?" She doesn't have a lot of practice with divine magic, really. Because: usually that's Tristian's thing. "I can give it a shot."
