Liath accepts a slice of lukewarm pizza from one of the Santa Barbara seniors who was holding it for her, and sits down at her place at the Santa Barbara table. It's small, not placed ideally in the cafeteria, but it's away from any vents or drains and it's theirs and that's sufficient for now. When she makes Valedictorian it'll put Santa Barbara more on the map. 

She looks around for Alyona - she should be here soon, and there's a whole morning of classes to catch up on.
