Ennis's eyebrows are going to be really bothering her in a week but she had been planning to brew a depilator for that and related needs. Still, the sign is enough to draw her over when she takes a wrong turn into the hall next to hers.

Destiny is only going through that hallway in passing, but: shiny! Shinyshinyshiny! 

She tracks down Morty at the first opportunity and informs him that there's a STORE that's selling STUFF and they should visit it. 

"Hello!" Nie Huaisang says to Ennis. "What can I get you?"

"- probably nothing, today, but in the longer run do you take payment in kind? My affinity is cosmetics and I'm likely to make larger batches than I can move on to whoever asked for them."

"Absolutely. I can also sell them for you for a ten percent commission if you don't happen to want anything in stock."

"Might do, mana if nothing else is always handy." Though she does have a powersharer, she doesn't want people breathing down her neck about leaving some for the rest of Manchester.

"I expect I'm always going to have mana in stock, a lot of people aren't going to have things to trade that I care to sell."

"Probably you haven't been doing this long enough to have a good idea of what is most in demand such that I could go make that."

"I actually haven't had a single sale yet!"

"Oh? Are these things all very expensive? If I wanted the tweezers...?"

"Oh, I don't know, pricing is very hard-- what would you offer for it?"

"It'd have to be less than it would cost me to get the ingredients for a depilation potion and the mana I'd put into one, and I've a good lab slot, but I don't know exactly."

"Well, what have you got to trade?"

"The upperclassmen will be on my case if I dip into the power sink for tweezers. I should probably just wait till I have a batch of alertness eyeshadow."

"Well, if you carried in something tradable I'd be happy to take that too."

"I have a little candy."

"What kind?"

"Aeros and Honeycombs." They're full of air, so she can feel like she's eating more candy bars for the same weight.

Excellent. 

Nie Huaisang names a price in Aeros and Honeycombs that is only slightly excessive.

"Hm, not today, but if I have trouble with the depilator maybe I'll come back."

"Sounds good!"
