"Thou doth protest too much. And I'm new and shiny!" she says.

"I plead the fifth."

"Well, if you don't want her."

"I did mean the times when I'm a he," she clarifies. "Genderfluidity's handy like that."

"Did I miss some kind of memo?"

"I'm a one man sort of guy. Although I am single right now, if you were curious."

"I'm okay with monogamy but if I can get away with it its lack sounds better in general for me. And what memo?"

"Apparently everyone I know is dating you now, except Scott."

"Are they? They never told me!"

"Ade, are we dating?"

He snorts. 

"As far as I know you're dating Jackson."

"Allison, I think you're confused. If we were dating, you would know."

"Uh huh. Good luck with all of the not-dating."

"Not-dating can be a lot of fun. You should try it sometime."

"I'm not really sure it's my thing." 

"I can do casual, but I'm not sure I can do non-monogamy if I'm invested."

"I expect to each their own, I'm nonmonogamous by inclination but it's not a very strong inclination."
