They are enthralled.

They are bad at video games, at first. The computers on 'easiest' mode handily send them to 9th and 11th place on their first race.

They're more into the pretty visuals. And the way the controllers vibrate.

Well, you can't expect a pair of pro gamers in one hour.

Soundwave tries to encourage them to actually win the races though.

They at least try to beat each other.

That's the spirit!

"Oh Crow's coming back sorry sorry I'm packing this up-" She turns off the system mid-race and hurries all the cables and such upstairs.

They're a little miffed.

Crow walks in, chatting amiably with Gardener. "Oh, I didn't expect you two to be inside at this hour. Tea?"

The two run over and hug Gardener. They seem to still find it hard to believe she keeps coming back.

"Tea it is. Do you two know if my niece did her chores yet?"

"She taught us how to play video games!"

"Maria Santa Rosa!"

"It was only for an hour! They had fun!"

"But the rule is to finish your chores before any video games! And I see dirty dishes. Come clean them, now."

"Yes, auntie..."

"It's not your fault she misbehaved, Angie."

"But she was being nice to us."

"Being nice doesn't mean you're doing everything right. She should have finished her chores first, that's all."

"It's brewing, dear. I made your oolong and Joey's green both."

"Yay!"

Over tea, Angie starts asking questions about the team's work.

Well, today they went to a city in the south of Mexico and helped deal with a nasty flood.

"There were some villains but we left them alone because they were helping. When natural disasters happen, all the heroes and villains, except the very worst, put aside their differences and work together for a few hours. It's annoying to see baddies and not go after them but I'm just glad we still do that in Mexico, in lots of other places the tradition of truce broke down completely."

"So, if Lionheart..." he trails off.

She shakes her head. "He doesn't usually go to crisis areas. But when he does... We ignore him just long enough to get the job done. And he ignores us and doesn't try to kidnap anyone until it's over because if he did everyone, heroes and villains, would try to kill him."

"Okay." Moral ambiguity is ambiguous.
