She leans back, watching Ellie with a little smirk of her own. 

And now Ellie's got some necromancy to study.

Naked studying sounds like an excellent pastime. Knife thinks she'll join her. Dissolve the image of clothes on her body, stretch out with a book in hand...

It's an excellent backdrop to the scene.

Yeah.

And then she gets drawn into her book enough to forget to ogle at Ellie.

That'll pass the time quite well until Ellie gets hungry for dinner.

"I miss food..." she comments as Ellie makes herself dinner.

"Can you smell at all?"

"No. Sadly enough."

"Put 'eating a meal' on the list for when we find you a body."

"Once I've gotten the hang of it... It'll be nice to find someone for a longer spin."

"It would."

"It'll be easiest if they don't fight back too much... But there's a lot of despairing people in this world."

"And she would have to be at least as pretty as you."

"If we can get someone of the right height and build, changing my appearance while I'm in them should be possible..."

"Probably easier to do that."

"Much easier. Very few people are as pretty as me."

"I find I can't disagree."

Giggle. "We're both incomparable beauties. An excellent match, all told."

"Very much so."

Preen.

And, some time later, when Ellie's gotten quite far in her studies and Knife's made a sizeable dent in her reading and writing (especially at night when Ellie's too asleep to entertain her), Knife flops next to Ellie and whines, "I'm bored."

"Hi bored, I'm Ellie."

"You're wonderful, is what you are, and we should get out of this house and do something."
