"The grayscale had its own charms, but- yes. It does."

Giggle. "Glad you approve."

Then she makes a little face. "Of course, if I'm going to walk around pretending I'm alive, I might need something for people to call me..."

"A name, huh?"

"I haven't tended to like most names."

"How about, uh... Knifey?"

Giggle. "I like it. Though 'Knife' is a bit more dignified."

"If dignity's what you want."

"Of course. I'm the very definition of dignity."

"Uh-huh."

"Aw, you don't believe me?"
