As annoying as her mom's girlfriends can get, Lily does like them and this is nice. 

She does, however, still go back with Tayab to his house that night. A lot of nights, even once they get their interdimensional guests in their own borrowed apartment. (The excuse to hang out with Tayab more super doesn't hurt.)

She does focus really intently on helping Ellie with reembodying her mom, coaxing Tyrant into producing more narrowly focused archives, first pass sorting things for her mom to summarize, poking the Deathly Hallows... They can do other stuff like have fun messing with space warping later.

(And Hema quietly checks if Ellie thinks she'll need a body ready when they get to Elesse, too.)

That would certainly help. As Elesse is more 'properly' dead than Anakin, they could do a flesh/blood/bone ritual to construct one at the time of her resurrection but sourcing the sacrifices can be tricky.

The day they're scheduled to go out and see Ellie be a dragon, she has Anakin's solution ready as well.

They can stop by the cloning facility first, then (where a mildly annoyed but mostly excited scientist corners Fay to ask to be able to watch and document next time they mess with a body's physical structures like that, please).

They can set up a time to do some demonstrations, if that would be better.

It would! And given enough warning, she can talk to Lily about getting any other measuring equipment the girl will want in here - or set up other experiments...

"I think a better question is where Ellaita and I would rather have you when you first get your new body."

"Do keep in mind my daughter's presence - and that I'm going to want to hug her," she says, voice a bit dry.

Thoughtful hum. "Maybe here, then. Improved ability to drag you into another room."

"As long as you can restrain yourselves to a reasonable time. I would like to go flying today."

"I'll make sure they behave."

"All right. So the way your body will work now is kind of like this." She flourishes one hand, and the Resurrection Stone appears in her open palm. Another flourish, and it vanishes. "Essentially, while it's not out in what we'd call real space, it's sent to a sort of timeless pocket dimension. No need to worry about aging or feeding when you're not wearing it, because there won't be time for anything to happen to it."

"Very nice. Will it still need to sleep, once I've had it out long enough?"

"Yeah, that's one problem magic hasn't quite solved. I don't think you'll necessarily need to be occupying it while it does that, though."

She nods. "Then it'd be okay left out on its own for a night?"

"It could die if it's in a dangerous or inhospitable spot, but yeah, should be."

"Alright. Thanks."

"So the attachment process will feel basically the same as last time. From talking with Lily, I think putting the body away and taking it out again will be a similar sort of mental action to using your Force powers."

She nods. "I'll play with it a bit."

"Ready?"

She nods. "I'm ready."
