And Anathema drags Ellie back to their suite, grabs Grim and pushes him out the door to 'Go find your boyfriend! He's moping! Don't come back until you've talked!', notes that Mal's not in and Bellatrix and Elodie are, then sits on the couch with Ellie until Fay gets back. (With only some giggling and kissing.)

Something is definitely up. Still, it's good seeing Anathema pulled out of the cloud of stress and worry she's been under for the last few months - longer, even...

The young should enjoy their youth.

"I can hear you," Anathema calls.

"One would be somewhat disappointed if you could not, cherie."

She sticks her tongue out at Elodie. "I'm not an old woman like you two."

"Not yet, anyway."

"Me and you are gonna be immortal," she informs Ellie, solemnly. "It'd be a pretty poor immortality if we spent it all geriatric."

"Maybe old is just a state of mind."

"Then we'll always be young and growing. Students of the universe."

And Fay returns soon after. "My talk with the Headmistress went well," she says to Ellie and Anathema. And she glances at Bella and Elodie as she goes to sit on the other side of Ellie. "I see everyone's here..."

"Yeah," she says, nudging Ellie a bit and grinning at her.

She giggles a little - and kisses back.

"Happy news, then?"

"We're dating now."

"Congratulations," she says. "Fay needs someone with a firm hand to guide her..."
