She's twenty-three, and this is Audrey's first visit to the Rose Bowers. A two week stay, complimentary through her government job on Arcbright. She's alone.
She's heard stories of the Rose Bowers, of the unrestrained hedonism that's its stock in trade, and its matchmaking, which is reputed to be excellent.
She comes in with trepidation in her heart. Her suitcase rattles as it bumps over the threshold.
Hannah kisses Audrey's forehead. "Definitely."
She gets up and heads for the door, tossing a wave over her shoulder.
Audrey waves back with a smile. She goes and makes sure the door is closed after Hannah leaves.
... well then. What to do?
She goes and picks up her phone and opens the Rose Bowers app. Her contact list lists a half-dozen people. She could call Aurica, or Kumi, or Clematis...
She selects the portrait of the regal woman she saw at dinner.
She picks up. Her voice on the line is clipped and formal, with a slight British accent. "Hello," she says. "Who is this?"
"I um - You don't know me, but I saw you at dinner and was instantly attracted. Are you interested in women? Particularly shy, nerdy pink-haired ones who um happen to have cocks?"
"Well, Audrey. My name is Lily and it just so happens that I've been stuck unable to muster the courage to ask someone out. I'm not saying you're guaranteed success, but I'd like to try it. Meet at Club Coze?"
Well that was a little abrupt. But okay.
She gets on her dress and heads down to Club Coze.
Lily is waiting, in a dark dress that shows off her pale skin to best effect. She's drinking a thick, red soda.
"Pleased to meet you," says Lily. "So, I understand you were approaching me because you find me attractive. Could I... hear a little more about that?"
"It's just, um, your bearing. It struck me as very regal and dignified. And I instantly wanted to be like you. Or, well, to be with you, if I'm being entirely honest."
"And... there's no way to be circumspect about this. Do you top or do you bottom?"
Audrey goes pink. "I, um... I don't know yet, I'm still quite new to this, but my friend Hannah calls me a switch."
"That's good. I'm very much a top, is why I'm asking. And... you're cute, and a bit brave for asking, so I'm inclined to give you a chance. Your room or mine?"
What it's that easy?
She tries not to let her shock show on her face. "Um, mine?"
Lily surveys it and nods. "It'll do. Mind if I use your console?"
