One goblin isn't blinded. They drop down and try to tend the wounds of their fallen comrades.

Well that seems good enough to her. Out and away, as quickly as she can manage. She can't trust a sprint when she can't see that far ahead, but she can move pretty efficiently while preserving her ability to go around corners. And this should take her out of goblin sight, which is all she really needs.

The goblins do not follow her.

Good.

The arrows stick badly in her shoulder. She spends some time preparing quick bandages before pulling them out, and quickly slaps on some silk. That should prevent extra blood loss... but it looks like there wasn't much anyway. Right, she is tougher than she is used to being. Good to remember.

Onwards.

The maze continues. After another ten minutes of winding passages, Tencednil finds the trapdoor. She climbs down the twenty-foot ladder and pushes forward. The stone cobbles and bricks have faded almost completely, replaced with tunneled cave walls. This place is less of a classic maze but no less strange for it, with tunnels of every shape, many going nowhere at all.

It's a long walk down to the underground river... but she makes it there eventually.

She crosses it, Prestidigitates herself... cleaner and dryer, at least — to be really clean, she'll need somewhere she can take this off and clean it separately — and sets up a Detect Magic while trying to remember Anton's path. Lhín will probably spot the illusion first, but she does have more range. It's not impossible she'll be faster.

The cavern splits into caves and crevices. Within five minutes Tencednil finds the entrance at an unremarkable wall in the middle of a long cave. She can detect magic in the area.

What does Lhín sense through the apparent wall? Just an opening? Are there zombies on the other side?

There are no zombies within the range of Lhín's senses.

"Feel nothing!"

She pokes through the wall! Is there anything she can detect now? (She can't see, but her detection works just as well without sight.)

Moving through the illusory wall does not reveal any new information to Lhín's blindsight.

It would have been really dumb if it would have and she got Tencednil killed over it!

"Can come in."

Tencednil is a little bit more cautious than Lhín. She pokes her head through first. What can she see through the wall?

She can see the same tunnel she's seen four times before. The secret door will be down the left tunnel.

Oh good, no loose zombies yet. She heads to the left, Lhín starting by flying about ten feet ahead before she follows. Detecting zombies from the air, where they can't just charge, is useful.

Tencednil can smell something rotting once she gets a few feet in. Lhín can see an open door in the left tunnel when she rounds the corner.

The zombies are out, then. She comes into sight of the door herself. What can she see on the other side?

She can see the mangled corpses of Anton and Julio crushed against the walls of Matei's lair.

Mika's corpse is spread out in chunks across the floor.

There are two slightly injured zombies inside the room. They spin around to face her.

They're... just out of reach. Hopefully. Maybe not if she's unlucky.

She takes a moment to recover from the sight of the corpses. She knows those people. She worked with them. And now... they're dead. By the time she recovers, the zombies are in motion.

The first zombie leaps and slams their fist directly into Lhín.

Lhín is... still here? She's fading a little bit, definitely close to dropping back to Tencednil's dreams. Is hasn't happened yet, though.

Far too close for comfort. Oh well. She prepares herself for the other to charge in, and shifts back slightly. Still in sight of the other, but now definitely out of a charge's reach.

Lhín drifts a bit upwards. Zombies can't jump well, she thinks.
