"All right. Legoland won't know what hit it."

"Quite. Stay in your encampment, wouldn't want a Lego guy to get you."

They get their onsite briefing - nothing new - and in they go.

She situates herself in the fortified encampment and waves him off. Are there any lego guys in view from here or is she pigybacking on a SWAT guy for the first bit?

They've got some clear plastic in the barricade; she can see a Lego guy, or just piggyback on Haru.

She will piggyback on Traceless so she can guide him more efficiently to victims. The shifting nature of the place makes this very valuable even if it means she accumulates more backlash while daisy chaining around while maintaining constant contact with Traceless.

He guns down Lego guys, but there are lots of them - they seem to be able to self-assemble out of the bricks - and hauls people out and gets them through the airlock setup in the barricade, and checks on Vantage's backlash levels each time and eventually recommends a guiding break.

They can do that.

It is not polite to have sex in guiding tents but kisses are permissible and so is shirtlessness.

Kisses are very nice. She will also remove her own top if prompted.

Does it count as prompting if he has his hands under her shirt?

After a bit of this she will ask if he'd like her to remove it.

"Mmmyes please."

Then sure.

This makes holding her close while he kisses her much more effective. He's not pushing his own powers that hard in Legoland - it's got the occasional sheer wall he wants to fly over but most of it's pretty climbable or navigable without - so he'll zero before she does and then they should probably go back in.

Sure. Back to work. They did take a good chunk off her backlash level.

They can get Legoland cleared out. An Ottawa local has the idea of Haru placing caged mice in the dungeon to be lookouts for Vantage so he doesn't have to leave so many Lego guys alive for her to look around with and runs out to buy a bunch for this purpose.

Mice don't have the greatest vision but they can be strategically placed to at least reduce the need to use the lego guys to look around. They are specced to detect moving lego guys at least.

"We can maybe get some other kind of animal for this," Haru chatters into the comms, "something that sees better, you can go to zoos and try stuff."

"I don't know if there's anything that has good vision and is also small and easy to obtain in bulk. Maybe some kind of small bird?"

"It doesn't have to be easy, guns aren't easy to obtain and we've got those. If you can use 'em for dungeons it's worth getting, like, hawks or something, if you need those, just annoying to maintain them."

"I know birds of prey have amazing vision but they'd need a lot of feeder mice and I don't know how easily they'll accept pre-killed ones.I...am not really keen on the idea of buying a lot of mice to be hunted."

"I dunno if they'll take pre-killed either, I assume this information is findable when we're back in a dimension with internet though."

'Yeah.  I'll make a note to self to look it up."

"You probably don't need hawks, anyway. Do rats see better than mice?"

"They are probably pretty similar. I think most birds have pretty good vision so like...small parakeets or something might work well, and those eat seeds and things and you can house several of them in a cage."
