"I want to wake her up and take off the blindfold. Can you go invisible?"

"Sure thing, darling." She'll have to renew it every thirty minutes or so, but that's no problem.

Eliese gently removes the blindfold, then positions herself to be the first thing Lace will see.

She shakes her shoulder. "Wake up, sleepyhead."

She twitches, eyes sliding open, arms reflexively tugging against her bonds.

It takes her a second to remember - she lets out a confused whine -
