“I’m not sure how arm rests would prevent shrimp posture.”

She giggles. "Not chair arms, monitor arms! They hold screens up to the right height so your neck and arms can both be at the right elevation at the same time, why by default is hard to do - people end up hunching forward to look at screens that are too low, or having their arms up too high, and both can be bad for different reasons that I don't fully remember right now."

“I usually use a laptop and I don’t think it’s given me any posture problems paper books didn’t.”

"I don't think paper books are especially great for posture either, honestly, but the ergo thing that M- my friend sent me was more focused on, like, desktop computer usage? I think it was written for office workers, which makes sense, they're on computers for long stretches of time every day, and I think that's the real risk factor."

She shifts around, trying to slide a hand behind Lucy's back to see if she can find any muscle knots there. "Do you get achy from posture?"

No muscle knots here!

“No. Do espers even get those, anyway?”

"We can, but a lot of bad posture is caused by muscle weakness in various little postural muscles and you're about to get a reset on that and find it way easier to sit up straight."

"...ooooh, that's exciting! I can do a better job this time around."

She rolls her shoulders, wincing a bit.

"Which requires calories, come get your ramen, you two."

Ooh food. Lucy will physically drag Cara over to food so as not to lose contact.

Cara is very draggable! She wants to stay in contact too. Also she's maybe learning things about herself Lucy pretty clearly doesn't mean it like that!

Ramen time.

Lucy pinches Cara’s cheek. “You blush and it’s cute.”

-She squeaks. And blushes harder. "Mrrp!"

She kisses Lucy's nose. "It's actually because you're extremely cute. It's contagious!"  

“Huh. Do I blush?”

"Only rarely" though she suspects part of that is the backlash, she's been doing a lot of things to Cara that would have implications that seem to run against the things she said last evening "but it's very cute when you do! Your cuteness is contagious in other ways, though." Like how you keep doing extremely gay things to me even though I'm 95% sure it's not on purpose. For example.

“I see.” Okay time to actually eat ramen.
