She nods sagely. "Oh, of course. Espers are like flowers! It just makes sense." 

Giggle.

“I think you’re ascribing him too much coherence, personally.”

She nods immediately. "Yep! What's actually going on is that his world model is full of holes and he doesn't care. But it's enrichment for me, pretending it's something more interesting!"

 How's the hair drying? Can they cuddle more for a bit

They can absolutely cuddle more. As long as Cara isn't wearing a shirt. 

Cara is absolutely not wearing a shirt. She sighs happily, relaxing into Lucy. "ahhhhhh...." 

Nuzzle. "We are so lucky to be spending the week this way."

She shivers, thinking about it. "Yeah. We really are." 

 She squeezes Lucy.  "Thank you for grabbing me, and watering me, and figuring out enough to call Haru." 

"Well, I don't think I really had much agency during the grabbing you part."

"You certainly had more than me, and I'm extremely glad you did it! But if you prefer, I can just thank you for the things you did once you noticed I was in a bad place, and thank the stars for the beautiful coincidence that put us together in the first place."

...Sappy! But she's allowed to be sappy,  she's awakening as an esper with two compatible and incredibly sparkly people! Situations like this are what sappiness was made for.

Nuzzle.

"You were in pain! Pain is bad."

Snuggly blue girl. "It really is. And now instead of being in pain and unable to do anything about it, I get to spend a week cuddling and getting to know you and Haru!" And at the end they get superpowers and maybe form a professional polycule one step at a time, Cara

She wiggles happily. 

Noseboop. “You are wiggly.”

Eeee! This causes additional wiggling.

"So I've been told! 'Her best quality: her wiggles', they say." 

She nuzzles Lucy. "I can tone it down, if it gets to be a bit much."

“Pfft. You have plenty of qualities that are even better than your wiggles.”

"Oh! I do?? gosh, that's exciting." Wigglewiggle bluuush

(she knows she's being silly, but it's never been easy for her to be normal about praise.)

“Your wiggles are very cute but I think more people wiggle than know Ballad of Smallpox Gone.”

That gets her a very blushy Cara.  

"More people should know about it! It was so important!" 

“Well, yeah.”

Snuggle. She doesn't say anything for a bit, just enjoys the touch, petting Lucy's undyed hair gently...

Eventually, though, she remembers the other markers they bought.

 "...did you want to draw on me?"

“Ooh! Yeah!”

-for some reason, she starts giggling.

Lucy scrunches up her nose in amused suspicion. “What.”

She up at Lucy with puppydog eyes. "Lucy... sweet precious Lucy..." stifled giggle.

"Would you write the First Federalist Paper on my ba-" and now she's laughing too hard to finish the sentence.

“I mean, if you want to, but not being Batman I will have to look it up.”
