Haru sometimes gets coffee at Tim's, when he happens to feel like it on a random morning, or when he needs to be up long enough to finish out a guiding session with June. This morning it's the first thing.

Her face lights up and she lets out an excited little squeak. "Cat karaoke... Oh no, that sounds too cute. I would explode."
She's thinking about what it'd be like to arrive with full knowledge of how to speak a language but no reading ability. Something to ask Cricket about someday, if Haru hasn't blogged about it already...

She giggles and pulls him into a hug.
(Her backlash has been ticking back up a fair bit over the past half hour, since they've mostly only been in arms-together contact - if this is bothering Cara, she's not making it very obvious.)

He hugs her, taking decorous advantage of the exposed skin available, and gives her a kiss.

And maybe also open her mouth a little, as a treat...

She will follow his lead re: kissing type and duration, but she makes no move to untangle the hug afterwards. 's nice and comfy...

Constant hugging is a good idea! He has to keep an eye on her anyway and may as well do it from a therapeutic guiding distance.

Then he will notice that she stays hugged with him until someone sees her and comes up to say hi, at which point she jolts a bit and disentangles to follow the set of social scripts he's been getting familiar with over the course of the evening.
When they wander off, she turns to him "We should maybe enqueue for karaoke now?"

Then shortly thereafter they will be onstage!
Cara is, as promised, an extremely mediocre singer, but she's very enthusiastic about it, pouring lots of genuine delight and wonder into her voice and body movements. She goes in for a kiss whenever she gets the chance, and her face lights up in delight when Haru picks her up and floats both of them into the air.

But does the audience like it? And do they like it when he dips and kisses her at the end of the song?
The flight gets a lot of ooooohs! There's a fair bit of applause at the end, and a wolf whistle from somewhere suspiciously close to Stella at the dip-and-kiss.

(Cara ignores all of this in favor of kissing him deeply, at least until he pulls them both back up).

Just a couple seconds till the outro's done and then they can step offstage. "Nailed it," he chirps.

"We did!! That was amazing, I've never had so much fun doing karaoke, thank you," oh she's babbling. What if instead of babbling she kissed him again, now that they're offstage and out of the way.

Oh, what a coincidence! She does too.
She's more than happy to take care of all of his (potentially in a corner, if he wants to avoid attracting attention).

Corner makeouts! With a very delighted Cara. (He can tell because she's making more happy noises than usual.)

She can keep her hands from going anywhere inappropriate about it, though.
