That is the question (that every operation must answer anew), though at the moment they are operating with fairly limited ability to train for a field group in motion.

Insofar as sensory coordination goes - battle meditation and direct Force-mediated communication is a thing they expect she knows more about the complexities of than they do, but there are protocols for "we have found out that things are going to shit" when not running under theater battle meditation, so here they are.

Well, if they have some protocols already, and an idea of what they want the new protocols to be in the situations that she thinks are likely to come up or important to handle well if they do, then it'll be easy to get that pinned down.

While they work through the implications of what she's told them, she goes to get Nine - he's a bit bemused at the idea of leading a mixed squad, but interested in trying it if it's what's on offer - and drops him off with his prospective commander, and then heads back to see what they want to do next.

Well, Lord Pradnakt, if it pleases you they would like to run drills against the possibility of heavy assault on a static healing position.

Yeah, that's a reasonable scenario to run through. She'll keep Daisy with her now to help with the accuracy of her acting but she won't be present for the actual event unless someone has a shockingly good argument for that.

Yes, that's expected, unless Daisy would be there in the field - which they are presuming she would not.  In the interest of keeping her further out of harm's way, they have earpieces.

If they have enough surveillance for Daisy to see what's going on around her during the sim without being there, sure, that works.

They do, yes.  Would you like your surveillance wearable or environmental?

Environmental; she needs to be able to see Lord Pradnakt.

This happens to change almost nothing about their plans besides patching Daisy into the feeds.

Good.

If there's enough time before they start, she'll go check on Nine again.

There's not not time enough for that.

So, how's he settling in? She knows a mixed squad with independent droids isn't going to be the same as having a direct networked connection to a squadfull of droids who have never known freedom, have they got that worked out? Or did they find him some nonsapient robots to control or something?

They have very good communications suites.

And they also have remotes.

He is delighted to have access to both.

Good.

All right, she's ready to go when they are.

Alright, places, everyone!

(...You will need a pool of extras this size that randomizes along this distribution to model the frequency of injuries that are both worth retreating to medical for and not instantly lethal.)

...Yeah they have that many fleshy people available.

Now, where are the faults in their defensive plans...  (There are always faults.  It's just a matter of which ones.)

...Experienced opposition would probably try to break things open here and here.

They aren't very good at thinking about what a bunch of fools with more bravado than sense would try, though.
