"...We'll have to work out a whole different setup for this, but we can absolutely do it - Lord Pradnakt, wound cleaning, useful or necessary or a waste of time?  And what about poisons, or those horrible little explosive implants?"

"Wound cleaning is a waste of time. Getting poison out of someone's system isn't a matter of healing but if they stay in my range I can heal existing damage, and I can also block pain and any additional damage as a separate skillset that doesn't require Light orientation. I haven't worked with an explosive implant before but between the healing and some telekinesis tricks that take advantage of my sensory skills I expect I can neutralize them; not as quickly as other healing, though, that's detail work."

"I guess I'm not completely superseded, then.  I actually do have what is, roughly, a dialysis technique.  And experience denaturing explosives."

"My range isn't amazing, either - thirty feet, sixty meditating. I can and will improve that but it'll take a while."

"That's likely more than you'd think if we're good at our jobs."

"...And, estimating very conservatively - every patient on a stretcher, taking five seconds to be healed, and having only two lines - I believe with optimal throughput that is still a number measured in patients per second, Lord Pradnakt.  ...It won't be ideal circumstances, but that those assumptions won't be true either means that I still don't think we're going to outrun your ability to heal people.  I suppose the question is how to get them there in a timely fashion, as always."

"...Yes, thank you, we will endeavor to not stress-test that."

"Yes, rather."

"It is something worth thinking about, for disaster relief situations.  But, well.  This is only marginally like one of those, even as slavery is an unmitigable disaster."

"It's harder than this to solve, yes."

"It does occur to me that openly showing up to help with a natural disaster wouldn't be a bad message to send to the Jedi, if we can make it clear that we had nothing to do with causing it."

"...Yes, that would help.  There's planets where everyone knows it's a matter of when; some of them are still beyond the Republic's sphere of influence.  I can see if any of those are coming due."

"That, however, is not the matter at hand.  Is there any other business related to our strikes against the Hutts?"

There doesn't appear to be.

"Alright, then.  Meeting's closed, let's get to work.

"Pradnakt, you will be receiving followup from Logistics and Communications, Defense Ops is probably going to want to introduce you to their close protection beforehand if you've the time, and if Engineering hasn't already set their widget to assembling I will be vastly surprised, expect that quite soon."

"My schedule's flexible, whenever they're ready for me."

She nods.

"I actually have a bit of time that could just as well be spent on training with the Force as much as anything else I could do with it, at the moment.  If that's something you would be interested in doing.

"...Elcie, get Lord Pradnakt my time blocks for Force, personal weapons, and group drill, would you?  It's surely better that you get an idea of how I and mine work in the field of battle - and what sorts of things they're used to their Sith doing, because there's definitely been some practices built up, there, under the assumption that they were mostly only going to be working with me, so, better we find out where that breaks down before we're actually in a fight, though the space here is really quite insufficient for training in quite a few of the sorts of things we prefer to work with."

That's really barely the work of seconds to produce the datastick and hand it off.

Daisy takes the datastick; Pradnakt seems pleased. "That is a good idea - I'm not used to working with mundanes at all, when Pritruth had us in the field it was just ourselves and sometimes other Sith; hopefully that means I have fewer bad habits rather than more, but I definitely have things to learn either way."

"If anything, I likely have the opposite problem.  Very little time spent working alongside other Sith.  I went places most dared not go, when I had the luxury of fieldwork for its own sake, and then ended up with a fief I was absolutely not letting anyone I didn't trust implicitly get an extended look at, if I could help it."

"Of course. I don't expect that to be an issue this time, we won't be working closely enough for it to matter that much, but hopefully we'll be able to find some time to do some exercises together before we do, to see how our skills and styles perform together before we put them under pressure."

"Indeed."

"Anyway, with that aside.  Force techniques.  I've never actually observed Force Healing in person, come to think of it.  And you want to practice your battle meditation?"

"Sure. I do still need to meditate beforehand for the healing, but I don't mind doing it now if you'd like to see. We can run whichever of your staff are interested through the aura, most people will benefit at least a little from it."

She 'hmm's and looks off into the middle distance for a second.  "Doesn't look like we're about to get any training accidents, so whatever works better for you."

She gives Daisy a questioning look, and receives a small nod in return. "Now is fine."
