"Really?" She sounds almost proud.

She should not be proud!!! Homura will deliver her a Judgemental Look.

She pouts adorably!

Okay back to the strategy of Looking Away.

"Is there anyone you like in our class, Homura-chan?"

“It is my first day. How would I know?”

"You could have some first impressions! What about outside of school? Any boyfriends?"

"No."

"Oh? A pretty girl like you?"

"Ridiculous." Her ears feel warm. She does not ask whether Madoka has any boyfriends.

Because she is completely disinterested.

"Maybe we should find you someone to date!"

Her ears are definitely pink now, she can feel how hot they are. Traitors. "I do not want a boyfriend. They are pointless."

"Really? I don't have one, but everyone seems to think they're very neat..."

"Then go get one and leave me alone."

"You're more interesting than the boys in our class, though!"

"What's with the face?"

Oh no, is she making a face. Why would she be making a face, she never does that! She tries to stop making any facial expressions at once.

"You have no reason to find me interesting. You are teasing."

"I have a lot of reasons to find you interesting! You're mysterious!"

She looks around the nurse's office for a clock. Shouldn't it be time for their next class by now?
