I'm going to keep on liking Haru.

It takes a little bit over a month from the day they started having sex for Jaeha to hit zero. It doesn't happen during sex; rather, it happens while they're snuggled up asleep, so when Jaeha wakes up, he is in zero pain for the first time in years.

Not that he didn't see it coming, of course. He knew it was about to happen, any minute now. He's actually low-key been expecting it to happen for the past three days. Kind of anticlimactic that it didn't happen during sex?

He's. Feeling kind of a way about it. He's not sure what the way is, he might need to notebook it. Something something and now it's the next chapter something?

On the other hand he's waking up next to Haru and they're not, like, dating, because they shouldn't, et cetera, but they're officially friends who kind of live together and chat about everything and fuck and that's... almost dating. Kind of. Not really.

Heeeee did not notebook about what their relationship would look like after he was fully guided and he maybe should've.

Anyway life can't be that bad when you're waking up next to someone you like, is the point.

His next word is lost in a yawn. Yaaaaaaaawn. "G'morning. - oh, there you go, all better."

"At least of the parts that are made better by being free of backlash, yes."

"I should notify whom it may concern that the bracelet can be sent elsewhere, then? Unless you want to keep it for a few dungeons just in case."

Oh he had not remembered that he might need to get rid of the bracelet.

"Too early to think about dungeons?"

"No, just, uh. ...being without the bracelet option to immediately get rid of backlash sounds..."

"You don't have to turn it over immediately, we're way under the estimate here."

"Yeah. I know. ...I'd feel better about it if I knew how big a stock they had of the thing. And what it was being used for."

"I can ask."

"If... it wouldn't be too much trouble."

"Sending emails is terribly onerous. Everyone involved in making me do it should be tried in the Hague."

He laughs. "I am not over my people-pleaser tendencies."

Pat pat. Biiiig reach for his phone to send the email and also presumably notify the Hague.

They are not dating so he can't kiss Haru. But he can appreciate the fact that Haru is physically attractive, so he will do that.

Phonetapping. And then Haru stretches and gets up to hit the bathroom.

Jaeha will wait, he supposes, and... not think about what to do next. He'll think about that with Haru, later.

"Bathroom's free," Haru calls when he emerges and goes to do morning laptopping at the kitchen table.

He uses the bathroom, then goes to the kitchen to start preparing breakfast.

"What's cooking?"

"Today I'm just doing an omelette," he says, although usually when he does omelettes he does them fancy and today is no exception.

"Yum. Do I see mushrooms?"
