In that case she'll append "Until Your Mind Breaks" to the dream one, and "Until They're Satisfied" to the once-a-month one-on-one. And again note not being done.

"Yes, it is. It seemed likely that different people would prefer one or the other."

"When it says the default is a guarantee, but you're willing to negotiate, does that only apply to the choices, or also to the parts outlined in the Aftercare introduction?"

"Much of what's in the Aftercare defaults is there for a reason, but why do you ask?"

She underlines "You'll never get pregnant from demonic rape."

"...hmm," he says. "We are very strongly inclined to forbid pregnancy in these encounters because half-demons are a tricky business to begin with and having them raised by mortals who aren't permitted to understand the full context of the conception seems like a bad policy."

"Does it help that I would certainly be co-parenting with my girlfriend, who is allowed to understand the full context. Also can you elaborate on 'tricky business,' if it's that they have chronic pain or poor health or something then nevermind."

"They're difficult for a mortal parent to handle because they have powers and instincts not common to mortals and difficult for a demonic parent to handle because they have limitations and instincts not common to demons. The point about your girlfriend is well-taken, however. I think... I don't have the authority to bend the rule about pregnancy from demonic rape, and wouldn't be inclined to use it if I did, but if you wish to negotiate for demonic impregnation as a reward, I can make some calls and have an answer for you at your first check-in."

"Good to know and, uh, definitely something to talk to her about--also she's a witch. Which might be relevant to the powers part, at least." And is part of why Lavinia is so confident she could make a demon have Regrets.

"In the sense that she has true magic?"

"Oh, yes."

"She would be the first natural awakening in centuries, if so. That's very interesting."

"--Huh. We always figured magic was rare, but..."

"The Queen's researchers have discovered how to stably spark an awakening, and we offer it as a reward, but it sounds like she has been a witch for longer than a few months so she isn't one of ours."

"Going on twelve years."

"Definitely not one of ours. How very unexpected."

"That would be why I don't really want to risk her going after you."

"The ability of a mortal to affect Hell's operations is still limited, but much less so this way, yes."
