"...I guess it doesn't seem necessary that the specific material brains are made of is special."

"Yeah."

"Anyway, good luck finding biologists."

"Thanks."

"Um, I'd be happy for your help with deciding how to distribute the technology I know about. If you wanted to, that is."

"- maybe, yeah, once you have some."

Nod.

"I can uh, call you then? And when I have more secrets to share?"

"Yes, of course. And to tell me your number when you have one, though that's not a secret, if me saying so helps."

"I guess I'll find out when I have a number whether it helps."

Nod.

And soon enough Lucien is off to try to convince a biologist to look at his blood under a microscope.

Annie goes on to her classes for the day.

Lucien, after some demonstrations with his badge, manages to convince a grad student to look at his blood. By the end of the week, He's leased a place to stay, acquired a phone (and informed Annie about his number), and become the owner of 51% of a new biotech startup (and called to inform Annie about this as well). 

"What're you going to call your company?"

"I haven't thought up anything better than Silvercell, for the color of the synthetic antiviruses."

"Well, that's not bad, lots of companies are named sillier things."

"It sounds sort of tacky to me, though maybe this is just because I'm from somewhere with different naming conventions."

"What are companies called where you're from?"

"Usually the name of someone related to them and then what they do? Like 'Vividian Transport' for a company founded by the Vividian family that does transport."

"There are ones like that here. What's your last name?"

"Schulman."

"How come you didn't go with that?"

"There are a couple of postgrads who are helping, and so it seemed rude to only use my name."

"...I guess if you used more names it'd get to sounding like a utility company."

"I wouldn't entirely mind sounding like a utility company, I like utility companies, but maybe other people would."

"I don't think there's anything wrong with sounding like a utility company but also these other people might not be with the firm for the duration and you probably will."
