Snort. "Guess so," he agrees. 

"...We should go over what we learned in there," he suggests after a long moment, "So we know if there's more we still need to ask them about."

"Maybe we should get our story straight, first. Uh, they figured out that we know a Tepam alt."

"That's not that bad, I don't think. People run into alts all the time in Milliways, or we could have known one in our world. I guess the... dramatic reaction I had might be a problem, though. What did you guys tell them? That she died or something?" 

"Implied that we knew Tepam's alt and didn't want to talk about him for mysterious reasons."

"Guess that works, too. If they press, we can just say we knew a local one for a bit and then he died?"

"Ooh, ooh, I know. He was evil! And Tepam shouldn't access to any magic."

"That sounds... it would complicate a very complicated situation."

"I think we'd have to be pretty convincing to get them to agree that Tepam shouldn't have access to magic," he agrees. "It'd have to be a really good story, and there'd have to be no other way to make sure she didn't do the same thing. I don't think we know Temple well enough to do something like that. It'd be suspicious, too." 

Pout. Very child-like pout.

"Not even your mom falls for that pouting anymore. Anyway, our future plans probably should rely on vagueness. Honestly, if we are unlucky enough to cross paths with these people again we shouldn't even admit to have met them here if we can."

"Yeah. Hopefully they'll just assume we're alts if they remember us at all." He looks down at Kenta, "You know you could change back now? Though, maybe we should find out what happens exactly if you stay like that for the full hour."

"Oh, I didn't because they might walk in and see me with you guys?"

"Uh... huh. Good point. We probably should have thought of that, that's going to be annoying for you."

Shrug. "Wish, my Boon had more settings, but whatever."

"We could try going into the woods a bit? Find somewhere they hopefully won't stumble on?"

"Yeah. That would help."

Off they go, then.

Back in the bar, Sefoni blinks down at the book of recipes, realizing she's been reading the same sentence over and over for a few minutes.

She yawns, "I think we've been here for a while, now," she mentions to the others. "Are we going to rent a room? ...Can we rent a room?" She wonders. It's not like they have access to any money - they're two, and everything they need is provided for them on the island. 

"Huh... let me ask."

Tepam goes over Bar, and returns shortly after. "Uh, we really can't stay overnight without an adult."

"Ugh, really? But we can't get anyone..." 

"Yeah, it's not even a money thing, but a legal thing? Bar follows our laws."

"Does this mean we would get arrested?"

"By who?" 

"They have security, right? But... they'd probably just kick us out?"

"Oh, yeah. That's probably it."
