A third of the world is covered by the howling maelstrom that was born a century ago. It is not ordinarily a place you'd find people surviving, but sometimes things appear in it. Strange things - otherworldly things - brought into the mist of a howling storm of cloudy dust and wind that blows in whichever direction it wants.
...fair enough. Their window doesn't face the front entrance so they won't be able to tell when Dragon's definitely left the building from here.
"Bedtime?"
Nod.
She's going to curl up real close this night. And also probably wake-up if there any particularly loud nouns.
It is reassuring to know that Pelape doesn't plan to let her go just because Dragon is a wolf.
That's good.
In the morning Eefa is wiling to go get breakfast with Pelape but she isn't going to get more than a few feet from her in the process.
They can stay close together. Pelape gets a big breakfast to make up for skipping dinner.
Eefa has figured this out by now, yes.
Also she is avoiding light fixtures, light switches, and anything else that looks like it might run on electricity.
...that's kind of inconvenient but Pelape can stand between her and the light fixtures, sure. How is she planning to refill the sconce if she's doing that?
She'll turn the lights off first, and then climb up and sort of drop the food in, while staying as safely far away as she can manage from the bulbs.
That done they can leave. Or stay here. Or whatever Pelape intends to do so long as Eefa doesn't have to leave her side while she does it.
Eefa sticks close by and when the market starts getting crowded, she grabs for Pelape's arm so Pelape won't lose her.
"You'd have your knees at my waist and your arms on my shoulders, I'd prop up your legs a bit."
"Okay."
Eefa isn't sure exaclty what this consists of, but it sounds like it would make her harder to take.
