"I think we've already done pretty much all of the things that might help.  ....Except that I'm going to have a second piece of pie."  Even though this involves standing up; hup.

"Conversation topics?" Haru asks, setting about harnessing himself. "Also, anywhere in particular you wanna fly to?"

Yes yes, strap strap.  "I'm kind of confused about exactly how high and fast you can go?  Like, I assume 'top of the CN Tower from the outside' isn't on the option menu, but I don't know what is."

"I might be able to do the tower but pretty much only because it's a tower, I approximately fly by controlling my distance from stuff around me and the maximum distance isn't huge and if I did try to go up the side of the tower I'd be at all concerned about my power deciding that I shouldn't be so close to a tower I'm that emphatic about staying away from, and then I'd fall away from it. Not in a way where I'd hit the ground, but there'd be some freefall before I got to my cruising distance above whatever I fell toward. Also I'm not sure the CN tower operators would like me to do that."

"Please let's absolutely not do that!  I guess I mean, what about is your cruising distance."

"Usually ballpark of twenty feet but of course I can go over stuff that's taller than that. And I could probably go higher with you on hand anyway."

"Om nom backlash," he contemplates.  "I do think drops are probably one of the most appropriately-terrifying things, if you think they're safe."

"Yeah, that comes up in dungeons and it's safe, I can shoot out over the edge of a drop and my power'll cut out till I'm close enough to something for it to catch me. Won't even give you whiplash."

"That's great; I love having my neck in - well, still seven pieces, but, y'know, seven pieces which are best friends with each other."  (Is whiplash bone or bone-spacing affecting or does it work completely differently from that somehow.  Doesn't matter.)  "I don't know; we could go out to the lake?  Maybe the bluffs; how long would that take."

"I don't think I can make it to the bluffs even with you pulling on my backlash as hard as you will be but the nearest part of the lake I can do."
