"That's deeply reasonable.  What did you think of the movie?"

"I thought Beatrice was really well-cast, which stands to reason given that it was Cricket's rec, she's his favorite. Claudio's delivery wasn't amazing, he didn't seem to have in mind a really authentic motivation for what he was saying, I think they mostly cast him because he was really hot."

"That's sometimes a sufficient reason to cast someone but yeah, I was not as attracted to him as I could have been if I got what his deal was."

"He did have good chemistry with Hero but combined with the weak acting it mostly made it seem like she has a type and it's 'confused himbo'."

"Which is a coherent and perhaps even usual way for someone to be, and yet I imagine other productions might have something more interesting going on?"

"Yeah, I saw a production in person once where I'm pretty sure the Claudio was supposed to be bipolar - or, like, a layperson interpretation of it, anyway - and Hero came off like she wanted to be his rock through all the swings but could only do that if he trusted her, I thought that was interesting."

"Ooh."

Bug takes Haru's hand and puts it in his hair.

Scritch scritch.

Mmmmm.  "That does sound interesting."

"It was a good show, yeah." Pet pet.

Mellllllt.  "When do you want to change your bandage?"

Why is he so cutely melty all over Haru. ...it's because of the awakening backlash, that's probably at least 90% of it, good job Haru answering your own question. "Could do it now, or whenever you next startle into less of a puddle if you don't want to prematurely interrupt being a puddle."

"It is nice to be a puddle.  That's why I do it."

"I figured." Pet pet.

The thing that eventually gets him snapped to sitting up straight is that he slides a bit too far to Haru's front and gets a bit of sleeping cat fluff touching his face.

"I'll go put him in the catbed, shall I." He does this. Cricket doesn't wake up.

In that case what if there was a much more sprawly puddle upon Haru's return.

"Did you want to help with my arm?"

"Yeah, sounds fun."

They can go do that, then. The bite looks better than it did yesterday.

Bug is diligent but not, in any way externally apparent, neurotic about the process.

"Thanks," Haru says when he's all wrapped up again. "Thoughts on lunch? I'm not hungry yet but will be in a while."

"Well, we could go out somewhere."

"Sure, what are you in the mood for?"

"....Thai?"
