If this were Backlashed Haru he would probably feel the need to say something in spite of it being really difficult but this is Not Backlashed Haru so he's just making noises. The noises are very appreciative.

Julien appreciates them in turn!  At length!  Ooh, that one, he especially likes that one and is going to try to keep replicating the conditions that caused it.

That gets a word if he does it enough times! The word is: "Fuck..."

It's probably a good thing Julien's mouth isn't free to say, like, 'Yep!' or something silly like that.  Instead he'll keep going until he can get something more out of Haru indefinitely.

The indefinition becomes rather definite (there's another fuck word in there, at least one) all at once.

Yayyyyy wowww compatibilityyyy.  Wow.  Julien will come and snuggle up with Haru and peeeeet him and everything is great.

- Well, that breaks Julien's air of mild smugness, with a gasp and a giggle.  "I think - no more pain for a while.  Not that that one hurt, and it was in fact pretty nice, but.  Just so you know."

"Okay." Haru kisses the back of his knuckles instead.

"Mmm.  ...Are you actually into sadism at all or are you just, mm.  Huuuumoring me."

"Uh - neither, I think, but the 'humoring you' one is more connotationally than denotationally wrong? You are very cute and I like that you enjoy it same way I can like that you enjoy anything else and it is easier to humor the kink in the one direction than the other since I am not personally experiencing anything aversive."

"It's nice that you like me enough to want to do things I like."  Snuggle nuzzle nuzzle.

Indeed yay! What a kissable Julien.

He is doing everything in his power to be as kissable as he can possibly be!  Well, almost everything, because - well, no, that doesn't count because it would just backlash the both of them instead of giving him any information.  Backlashing Haru would maybe make him immediately more kissable but probably less so in the long term because it makes it more likely that something horrible will happen.

But actually none of that matters because it really does seem like Haru's having a pretty good time, and Julien is really just kind of fundamentally unanxious, at the moment, and therefore noncurious about what's going on in Haru's head.  It's obvious what's going on in Haru's head!  Because he's saying it, with words and with noises and with his mouth, and it's all good things, and everything is amazing.

Is Julien going to eventually materialize more information about what things he might want or should Haru start guessing?
