"Right, yes." He completes his tariff-enhanced turn.

Surprisingly, Wendy wins.

"You just kept buying point-scoring cards every turn and we all were more focused on our shiny combos. Also a common failure mode."

She snickers.

"After we clean up, I think Nick mentioned power science at one point?"

"I did, and I don't mind exerting myself some today, but I'm not sure what to test, really."

"If nothing else I could use some video of some of the applications. Though I'm not sure what would be most visually dramatic for the pausing one... like, a clock, but..."

"Food coloring that's just been dropped in a cup of water turned out pretty good. I can even separate the cup from the water."

"Oh, that does sound good, let me see if we have any food coloring." He hops up and ruffles Teddy's hair on the way to the kitchen.

"He can do the dishes instantly with it too."

"Yes, I can freeze things very particularly and separate them thusly. I'm a bit suspicious of its thoroughness, especially on anything with fibers."

(Aaaa hair ruffling is a tad embarrassing, if also nice. Well, the Correct Response to this is probably just to move on?)

"Seems like a questionable backlash decision but I keep being tempted to fly to change lightbulbs instead of getting out the stepladder so I can't talk."

"What's the point of having phenomenal mysterious power if you don't use it for petty, fun stuff sometimes?"

"Again I am personally really into superheroism but to each their own."

"So, have you got video equipment? Directional mike? Stage lights?"

"I have a nice phone camera and the sun."

"It will suffice. It's your kitchen not mine so I don't know where things are- We can also record my spinning top and yoyo tricks, I suppose? And the cleaning thing."

"Did you bring your spinning top and yoyo, I don't have either. - aha. We only have green but we have green."

"It looks a lot more dramatic with obviously mechanical things, rather than like a phone stopwatch app. Newtons cradles and stuff."

"I do have a spinning top and yoyo."

He has his favorite green raincoat with voluminous pockets. He digs around in them and produces said objects.

"Do you want your face out of frame, or don't you care?"

"I would not like my face to appear on your blog. Whether you accomplish that at point of recording or via editing."

"Well, it's good to know before I start taking shots so I know how to zoom and frame it even if I wind up having to crop something later."

He readies his spinning top and pullcord with a bit of a 'let's get on with it' expression. It's painted in rainbowy stripes, for better visual effect.

Haru does videography of all the tricks.

Some of them are pretty cool! Gyroscope-y and tricky momentum-cancelling things. He has fun and provides running commentary.
