"Lia'll be at your silo soon," she dutifully relays. "And says 4D dungeons can get 'pretty deep'."

"Helpful."

"I wish I knew how 'deep' a single dimension is. Like, is it it a Planck length, is it half an inch, I have no idea."

"Maybe an esper who can properly do 4D would know? Lia doesn't have anything special for it, she just spent a lot of time practicing in VR and stuff until she had a knack for thinking in 4D so she could do some dungeons with espers who can move people in it around."

"...sounds like pretty good VR. Inconvenient that I can't take passengers or I could see if any of those espers could just, like, tell."

"Yeah. Oh - we could time me pulling you back? I think my power works equally fast in all directions."

"Oh, how fast is it?"

"People accelerate towards me at about 15 meters per second squared."

".......for those of us who used to rely on robots we programmed with our superpowers to do math whenever it came up in daily life, does that mean that if I take more than a second to get to you I'm more than fifteen meters away or is it more complicated than that?"

"A bit more complicated - you travel 7.5 meters in the first second, I think."

"That's going to take so long to figure out if I go slowly and it turns out they're a Planck length but I really don't want to get lost."

"It took you more than an instant to get back the one time I pulled you, I think?"

"Do people sometimes take only an instant if you pull them from a short distance?"

"No - I suppose it takes a moment to start. I think you were longer than that but I'm not certain."

"Is your reaction time up to this or do we need some kind of speed camera setup?"

"It'll depend on how far apart things turn out to be - we can try without the speed camera and if that doesn't work I will ask Lia whether she has any camera fast enough to be useful."

Now's a good time given that he'll be heading to do guiding soon - he can set-up the towel again and tag Lorica.

"Want to try going to the closest dimension and I can time your return, and then we can do the farthest one you've gone to so far?"

"Sure." Out she goes into the void.

And back she comes. 

"Looks like 0.35 - the minimum time I get is 0.31, but that difference might just be my reflexes. Try farthest?"

She gets suited up and goes out.
