Kyokyomon attempts to slither after him.

"Are you gonna try to fight him more?" she asks Kyokyomon. 

"Yes," it nods.

"Why?"

"Because he hurt someone," it says, solemnly.

"But then I explained what was wrong and he agreed not to do it again." 

"She is still hurt," it explains.

"Fighting him won't make her not hurt anymore." 

"It will make him hurt the same."

"But then there will be more hurt." 

"That is true."

"Hurt is bad." 

"Hurt is a debt that must be repaid."

"...No?"

"Is too!"

"How would that even work when someone gets hurt by something that isn't another person?" 

Snake-shrug. "Fight if you can. If not, no shame."

It moves to slither around her.

"How do you fight stepping on something sharp?" 

She moves to stay between Kyokyomon and Chibimon. 

"Thorns can be burned away."

"What if the fire gets on other things?" 

"One does one's best," it says, gathering its tail under itself. "Too much damage is not honorable."

"But if you hurt people because they hurt other people then there will be more hurt and hurt makes people upset and that's really bad!!!"

"If you do not then there is dishonor, and theft, and rampancy, and in time more hurt. That is worse."

And it pushes itself into the air from the ground, briefly stretching to several times its usual length, and begins to glide over her head.

There wouldn't be much she could do about that even if it weren't enough of a surprise to leave her gaping for a couple of seconds. 

She can chase after him, though. "Wait! He didn't know it would hurt her! You shouldn't hurt people over mistakes!" 

...It turns and glides to the ground. "Say more about mistakes?"
