"I'm not pulling her tail now," he patiently explains. "I don't know why she's still crying."

"People cry after bad things too, not just during. I think. Like, this one time, someone tried to bite me, so I hopped on them, but then they hopped off crying, so I hopped off after them and gave them grass to eat until they felt better." 

He takes advantage of Lalamon's protection to ponder this for a moment. "So... you want me to go give her grass?"

"I want you to not pull anyone's tail! Or do other things that will make them cry. Anyway we are all eating tasty fruit now, grass is probably not going to help." 

"That's a lot of things. I don't know all of them yet but I know a lot."

"Well, you can just not do the things you know will make people cry, I guess, and then if you do something and it makes someone cry you can apologize and add it to the list," she suggests. 

He ponders that for a moment.

"Okay!," he says.

"Good! Have you tried the inside fruit? The inside fruit is very good." 

"I don't like it. It's too sour and smallening."

"Smallening?" 

"Like doing the same boring thing over and over and it doesn't do anything!

"I like the long red fruits. They taste like FIRE."

"Huh. That's weird. They don't taste like that to me. Doesn't fire hurt?" 

"Yeah but it's exciting and it fills me up with energy!"

"And there aren't any things that do that but don't hurt?" 

"I don't think you understand fire.

"...Maybe there's fruits that taste like something else good, like flying or jumping or biting. But I haven't found any."

"I don't know, I've only tasted two fruits and at least one of them tastes different to me than to you." 

Chibimon wanders off towards other fruits.

Kyokyomon attempts to slither after him.

"Are you gonna try to fight him more?" she asks Kyokyomon. 

"Yes," it nods.

"Why?"

"Because he hurt someone," it says, solemnly.

"But then I explained what was wrong and he agreed not to do it again." 

"She is still hurt," it explains.

"Fighting him won't make her not hurt anymore."
