Soon thereafter the Sarenrites arrive in droves. It would be one thing if it were the result of her letters, but only a few of her brothers and sisters arrived because of her call. The majority of the delegation came at the order of the Sublime Emperor of Emperors, whose merest whim can launch fleets.
The temple in Westcrown is not Diyar's; she was merely the church's representative when the former Asmodean temple was handed over 'to the Sarenrites', and at the time she was the obvious choice to run it. Now the Imperial Delegation feels quite strongly that they are the obvious choice to run it. Of course Diyar is welcome to slot back into the hierarchy, but the capital of Westcrown is no longer really the place for a 'missionary', instead of the head of the Chelish branch of the global church.
Diyar cannot disagree that they are the obvious choice; she is a fourth circle cleric, here on her own recognizance, and the head of the Imperial delegation is sixth circle, and has a letter of recommendation signed with Kalish the Twenty-Second's Seal. She has a few acolytes; he has a hundred empowered clerics in tow. She humbly hands him the keys to the temple, and introduces him to the parishioners. (To the Queen? No, she has never met the Queen; she hopes His Radiance is granted the honor.)
