Trevor wakes up early the next day and makes himself pancakes for breakfast.

Then he decides to fly around for a bit.

There's someone following him.

Quietly moving, not making a sound. 

Well, clearly he should be discreet and patient about this.

But that is boring, he instead is going to turn and fly towards where the someone is, "can I help you with something?"

"Thank you for asking, it saves me some trouble."

She has a sword at her belt, still in its sheath.

"What do you want?"

"Well, knowing who I have the pleasure to meet would be a start?"

"A dangerous person who wants to protect the people here." 

"Hey! We have that in common!"

"Why did you come here?"

She places one hand on the sheath.

Trevor looks at the hand on the sheath and giggles. "Sorry," he clears his throat, "I didn't pick this specific place to come. Actually, it would be more accurate to say that I was born here."

"Is this a riddle?"

"Nope. But you are being all mysterious in a vaguely threatening way and not giving a name. So, I feel entitled to make some inside joke that you won't get and depending how this conversation goes I might even explain it to you. Or not. My only hint: the truth is likely very outside your hypothesis space." He grins.

"Noshiko. You should consider using fewer words. Someone might think you were playing a game with them."

"Trevor." he gives her a salute. "Games? Like following people around without offering a reason? Granted, the wings can be reason enough."

"I've found that explaining myself to the hostile, unknown supernatural forces only hurts me. I'm sorry you found my following you to be frustrating."

"Heh, I am more confused than frustrated. Care to help in that regard?"

"I'm not sure I should. Whatever you are, you picked a bad time to be an unknown quantity. Consider leaving town."

"You do realize that statement is unhelpfully vague, right?"

"No, this behavior is unintentional and serves no purpose."

Snort. "Of course. Are you planning to at least give more motivating information for why I should leave town?"

"No. Stay. Whatever you are, I think you'll agree that a malevolent chaos spirit needs to be stopped."
