Anders reads from the book, casting happy, knowing glances at his kids. "Primal class comprises the elements: fire, ice, lightning, earth. It is the class that causes the most destruction."
Talia smiles and leads the way into the garden. It looks a lot better now than it did when they came to the mansion and feels...peaceful.
Karl stands in a wide enough gap between two trees, and smiles, like he can't stop himself. "This is perfect."
"The Chantry itself couldn't do better." Karl reaches up to touch a flowering vine, and smiles.
Karl laughs. “Oh, I could never get him in a Chantry. I’m surprised he doesn’t burst into flames just walking past it.”
"Somehow I feel like Ilska has similar feelings. Have a think on it. I'm sure something will come to you."
"I'll await your word with bated breath." Beat. "...My breath will probably not be bated. That seems like it may become inconvenient."
Talia laughs and grins. "I will, don't fear. There are many people who would scold me if I didn't."
"It's not just my siblings! I appear to have acquired a band of merry followers who worry for my health."
"That you have. But, I cannot judge, I seem to have adopted a few of the same."
Karl holds out his hand. "Thank you, Talia. You're right, I better get down there and start doing something."
Talia hesitates, and then gives him a quick, brief handshake. "I'd say anytime, but you should only get married once."
"Believe me. This is it. He is it."
Karl's smile is big and bright, and he gives Talia a cheery wave when he descends back downstairs.
"As if he'd say no!"
But Karl does draw back, a somewhat serious look on his face. "But we will make a very big, very surprising event for him."
