"That sounds like something you would like."

"It is. I asked if I could get him to finish just by ordering him to and he said I could but please don't, he wanted to be as desperate as he could possibly be — Leo, he's so good, I don't know if you followed through on that threat or not but he already reminds me to eat —"

"I haven't talked to him at all! I am glad I have an ally in the quest to make Lindsay eat."

Nope, nope, nope, stop it, no worrying about how you've never done eight years of orgasm denial and then begged Lindsay for more.

He adjusts so that he's holding Leo a little bit more but Leo isn't holding him any less. "In short we have spent the last day-and-change having a slightly absurd amount of sex even for newlyweds and I'm very very lucky."

He is happy for Lindsay and not jealous no matter what his stomach thinks about it.

"It seems like you got the best possible situation."

"I did. And I don't have to hide you."

"Maybe I can stay with you in Londinium after the Season's over."

"I'll have to ask Ash, but I'm fairly sure he'll say yes." Kissing?

Kissing!

"He goes by Ash?"

"He does. We haven't gotten into my — everything — yet, except the bit about not being called sir."

Ha, Leo knows about Lindsay's everything and Ash doesn't. Possibly he should stop viewing this as a competition but that does not remotely stop him from feeling smug.

"Too busy having sex?"

"That, but also it just hasn't come up, 'don't call me sir' was enough to get him to call me Lindsay and he hasn't asked beyond that."

Kisses.

"I am very confused why someone wouldn't ask all the questions about you and learn everything they could."

"I love you so very much." Particularly enthusiastic kisses.

After some enthusiastic kisses, Leo says, "I should probably meet Ash."

That would involve Lindsay getting out of Leo's lap, which is terrible, but Leo is right. "Yes." He stands up, takes Leo's hand, leads him to the room where he last saw Ash.

Ash is writing something at his desk and doesn't hear them come in.

"Ash, this is my Leo; Leo, my Ash."

"It's a pleasure to meet you," Leo says, in a voice that implies that it is absolutely not a pleasure at all.

"The pleasure's all mine," Ash says, "to get to meet someone my Lindsay loves."

Navigating this is going to be a mess; this isn't news to him but it is very, very salient. He takes Leo's hand again.

Leo is not sure whether he's pleased about being called someone Lindsay loves or irritated about "my Lindsay." He's squeezing Lindsay's hand very tightly.

"So you know about me and Lindsay."

"I do, and I approve, and I would never get in the way of you and Lindsay being together."

That's very nice, but Leo is super-jealous, and Ash isn't jealous at all, and what if Lindsay decides the not-jealous person is better which he obviously will because it is.

How about Leo and Lindsay sit down, in the same chair, and they can keep holding hands and also Lindsay can cuddle up to him. "I've told him about the Society but only in very broad strokes; he won't stop me from going and was mostly concerned about whether I'd gotten a chance to make a proper sacrifice."
