She is sitting in the library, studying. It's her most common pastime, by hours; spending time with her sister is more enjoyable but Jaromira prefers to socialize more broadly and Katarzyna would only get in the way. This is better on net; the two of them share a room, so it isn't as though her sister's time is entirely hogged by the other girls who call this boarding school "home." Or at least "prison." Katarzyna doesn't mind it, though; the school library is excellent, and basic manners and care for the books has endeared her to the librarian to a sufficient degree to lubricate the interlibrary loans process when there's something she wants to read that they don't have.

"My outfit hasn't passed muster with anyone more advanced than my sister but I'm going to a stylist on Sunday."

This one's pushing the cryptid limit with feathered wings and a very long lizard tail; it's possible that most of the rest is cunning makeup. She's pausing to stretch.
"Terrokinesis."
"I have a power that lets me mimic the powers of other magical girls who are nearby. It doesn't affect them at all, but I try to be maximally scrupulous about consent--can I try yours?"
"You gonna start an earthquake?"
"Go nuts, I guess."
"Thanks!"
Okay, time to go somewhere reasonably discreet. She locates the speed magical girl, and copies her first--what are the limitations of this power?
It only applies to the user, though it can be applied piecemeal to individual body parts. It doesn't consume extra calories and doesn't generate extra heat compared to moving really fast nonmagically.
She assumes not from what the speed magical girl was saying but does it do anything for her reaction time?
It does! It's not doing much for Katarzyna because she has a wimpy version.

Yes, and hers is abysmal since she has the cheap "sweatpants and t-shirt" edition.
