JJ watches as the zeppelin loom ominously above the New York City skyline with large swastikas painted on their sides. His stomach twist and turns with dread.
The streets stand still as each citizen has stopped to look at the invading force. JJ tries to not have the fear overtake him.
...then Link leaps from nowhere in particular, and aims a bow charged with light energy. That pierces one of the airships and causes it to explode. One of the previously quiet citizens cheers "Oh! The humanity!" Which almost distracts JJ.
But he decides to close the trailer for the new Legend of Link game, and continue browsing his phone for another distraction. Nothing political. News about the documentary about the actress paid to pretend that she wrote Harry Potter? Too sad. Something about the obscure ex-comedian Joe Rogan doing gay-for-pay content work? Too spicy for the subway. Something about The Apprentice being renewed to a 25th season, but with some behind the scenes' drama? Nah, too irrelevant for him.
Sigh. JJ looks around, avoiding looking at the fellow passengers waiting. Apparently, the head of Colossus of Rhode is coming to the city's museum.
He makes eye-contact with someone that was also looking at the same poster, and JJ looks away.
Not because he is the internet stereotype of an introvert that is completely to think what to say or to do in a social situation.
The problem is the opposite of that.
