"He's fine. You should see him when he's talking about Allison."

"I should, actually. I'll ask later."

"It's adorable, in an annoying kind of way."

Scott pointedly ignores them!

He can hear them, of course, because he's a recently turned werewolf and he can hear everything.

And Ade is aware of this.

"Yeah, I think I'm gonna ask him to gush on about her, Scott being adorable sounds like a fun sight."

"He fell for her kind of fast. The guy barely talks about anything else, now."

"Well, love at first sight isn't impossible."

"He's got a crush, and since he's Scott, and not me, he had to be nice and friendly and kind and talk to her, so that's working out."

The teacher teaches them all about grammar. So exciting.

How long do they have to do this?

Meh.

"Good thing I'm Ade and had to be nice and friendly and kind and ask you out."

"I'll make sure to thank you later."

"Please do. And by the way do you know whether Scott and Allison have had sex yet?"

Scott's pen flies across the room, hitting the blackboard.

"Not yet," he says, but looks somewhat embarrassed by this turn of events.

Yup, he's blushing again.

She grins. "It's not nice to eavesdrop," she says in an undertone.

Scott does not have the hang of undertones, so he looks vaguely ashamed and the lesson continues.

"It's alright, I don't blame you," she continues. "I just had to do it."

"I can't wait until tonight."

And looks like that's all the grammar they have time for today.

Looks like Danny's ready to take her to math.

"You know, a gorgeous boy like you escorting me to my classes, I'm going to get spoiled."

"There are a couple of us to go around, you'll get used to it. Have you ever played lacrosse before? You were pretty good out there."

"I'm just generally pretty athletic, I think, and the skills translate from other games, a bit."

"Have you talked to coach about the girl thing? It's probably fine, but girl's lacrosse has a separate team."

"I have nnnnot. Do you expect him to make a fuss about it?"

"I'll get Jackson to talk to him, it'll be fine."

Time for calculus!
