Moving. Yet again. Because this ducking stupid—
No. Get yourself under control. You know what happened that time—
Okay. New school. Mmhm. It's alright.
He arrives at the school...
"I'm of the opinion that everyone's interesting once you really get to know them," he shrugs.
The bell rings. Stiles rushes in.
"Not late! Still ringing, I'm here, it's all good."
He sees Ade and slides into the seat beside him.
He gives Stiles a brief look that makes it seem like he's about to say "nothing" but instead he goes with, "You'll look dashing no matter what you wear."
"So I know I've somehow tricked you into liking me, but dashing? I'm not sure I can pull off dashing. Can we keep our expectations a little lower?"
He doesn't have a strong counter!
"Thanks," he mumbles.
"If you don't have any input, it's going to be something pretty bad."
"Should I avoid innuendo, here, because you're handing me these openings on a platter."
"Innuendo is fine, I'm just not sure if it helps me dress myself so I don't embarrass you."
"What I was going to say," he explains, "was that if your clothes are bad that's just extra incentive for me to find a good excuse to get them off you. I won't feel embarrassed no matter what you wear, though. 'Embarrassed' is just not a state I can occupy."
He smirks. "Feel free to accept it. Can I take 'getting you out of your clothes on Friday' as a challenge, too?"
"So you can feel free to wear whatever you like. I'll probably just find something I think I look good in."
Unfortunately for Ade (fortunately for Stiles, who didn't have anything good), the teacher glares at them and tells them to pay attention.
And after vocab, they're free of their legally-mandated education.
"So if we hang out before our date, does that ruin the mystique? Should I be maintaining mystique? Is there any mystique?"
"I'm honestly not all that into the whole 'mystique' thing, and if it were up to me we'd have our date tonight. Or we could just make out behind the bleachers. I don't have very strong attachments to the typical order of these things, I usually let the other person dictate the pace."
