There's not really anywhere else for Tigerclaw to go but Twolegplace, which he hates.  He hates a lot of things right now, actually; he hates the situation, in its entirety; he hates Darkstripe and Longtail and Dustpelt for renouncing him; he hates the mouse-brained rogues with their mouse-brained plans; he hates all of ThunderClan for turning on him when he'd done so much for them and would have done so much more.  He hates Bluestar - no, he hates what she's become.  He hates that this happened so soon after his kits were born, that they'll be too young to remember him and that he won't get to see and shape what sort of cats they turn into.

He hates Fireheart.

And while he does this he walks all the way through Twolegplace, ignoring the kittypets who greet him from atop their fences (hate hate hate) and darting away from Twolegs (hate) and crossing an uncountable number of Thunderpaths (haaaaate).  He finds a spot hidden enough to be as safe as he's likely to manage tonight, and curls up.

And he seethes, and he sleeps.

And Mother Nature reached out and, with a gentle hand, lifts him from one world to the next...

When he wakes up he's in a different Twolegplace.

That's... not how he understood Twolegplaces to work.  But Twolegs are already so confusing that he isn't remotely as surprised as he'd be if a similar thing happened to him in a forest.

What's this one like?

He's near some buildings where Twolegs and kittypets live.

Hm.

Well, he can't go back to ThunderClan's territory, but it would still be ideal to know where he is.  In relation to it.  He shouldn't be able to pick up the Clan scent out here, but Fireheart, traitorous as he is, sometimes snuck out this way; can he catch a whiff of him?  Or the rogues; they traveled often enough through these sorts of areas.

He'll start searching for any scents he recognizes.  He's wary of monsters, and of Twolegs, but not terrified of them.  His speed and strength will protect him; there's no need to sulk and hide when he could instead be figuring out what under StarClan is happening here.

He smells some cats but no familiar cats.

Does there appear to be wilderness in any direction.

Noooot as far as he can tell.

Then he'll pick a direction and walk in it until he finds some.  The Thunderpaths make it very easy to follow a straight line, though the mild convenience doesn't remotely make up for the danger in crossing them.  And 'walk' isn't perhaps the most accurate term, what with the frequent switching he does between that and bolting, dodging monsters.  He has a fair bit of endurance to start with, but it's quite a taxing way to travel.  He grows somewhat less careful as he goes on.

Drive drive drive drive holy shit it's a cat in the middle of the road!

He screeches to a stop in an attempt to avoid hitting it, loses control of the car, and crashes into a tree.
