"Yes, yes, if you are so eager to leave." She disappears inside the hut for a moment and returns with a stack of bound parchments. "And before you ask, the wardings on the chest failed long ago. I merely retrieved these to protect them." She hands them off to Xandra.

"Thank you."

"Now there's mannerly young lady. My Aoife could stand to learn a thing or two from you."

"She has her own charms, Ser."

The woman cackles.

Sigh.

"You have what you came for. Best be on your way now."

"Don't be ridiculous, girl. These are your guests. 'Tis only polite to show them out of the woods."

Siiiiiiigh. "Very well."

"Follow me," she says, starting to head off again.

But no one has told her how to turn people into toads yet.

She follows without complaining about that though. 

Aoife will take them on a more direct route back to Ostagar, rather than retracing their steps back to the tower.

She's grateful for a shortcut out of the mud.

Lys has enough social grace for all of them, so she inserts herself back into the conversation with technical questions and comments about magic. (That seems to be something Aoife is more comfortable with.)
