...Yes, please, save her from the tedium.  It's important work, but she really doesn't like having to do it.  She should just make something that automates the process of constructing an anchor, already.

If she thinks she can do that, then by all means she's welcome to try.

...As much as she's pretty sure she knows how...

She'll do it later, when there's nothing time-sensitive on her plate.  It's not that many anchors.

And she would like to get to know the other tutor?

The other tutor is...  One of the kitchen staff?

Well.  That does make sense, given the whole thing about focusing on utility magic.  Still, she's probably a lot more dangerous than she looks.

"...Your Highness.  Her Grace said I should meet you here before you go to tutor our guests.  You've seen more of them than me, what're you expecting?"

"...Just a minute, please, I'm finishing this up - do you know how to make spell anchors?  And then I can leave it to run and we can talk."

"...Y'should be fine with what you have already, for anything arcane."

"Well, yes, if it was, but it's cross-axis work, and the most explosive one to boot.  Better safe than sorry."

"Well, in that case.  If you can hang the spell you want I can anchor it, but I'm no artificer, so get it right when you do."

"...How about you take over the barriers and I work on the fiddly bits?  I don't know how well my spells hang, per se.  If they're live and everything isn't set, they might try to reference something I haven't made exist yet."

"...What do you take me for, I can handle that.  Just not having to change a thousand things after the fact."

"...Still, best not risk it."

Anyway, with that out of the way, the ritual setup is... ...set... up.  Alicia checks to make sure that her conjuration's working, comparing to the data from her earlier scans, and - well, that sure is copper and iron.  Looks like it's magnetized, to her best guess at a detection spell, and all the individual parts are hooked together properly.  (Or not hooked together as is proper, in some cases.)

Right.  The only thing left is the casing, and that's - well, it's geometrically fiddly, given the runework she's making to automate the spin and ensure that nothing melts, but it's not magically fiddly.  It's not conjuring a substance that shouldn't exist in the local physics, or anything.  Just some shaping of a nice inert rock, and getting the enchantment to set.

...Good grief.  She's a good arcanist, but the princess really is something else.

Well, yes, she is.  "...Anyway, you were saying?"

"What're you expecting of our students?  You know them better than I do."

"...Deskyl is going to be asleep, best odds.  Don't wake her, she's stabby when startled.  DZ is going to have trouble with consciously wanting to do things, which may or may not affect her performance, and - she's probably read the ground-floor library.  Like, all of it, or at least the entire magic section.  How familiar are you with those spells?"

"Pretty well.  Enough to cast them as specified, at least."

"That's good - I normally just rewrite things, I can't help with mimicry."

"Do you think you have a good focus for them?"

"...I have some ideas."
