It seems that this world has more water than Golarion. The land is split into two large crescent shaped continents, with one northwestern and one southeastern. The northwestern continent has almost no detail in the mental map. Kanuwa marks their present location as being near the upper end of the southeastern continent. He also adds what place names he knows...none of them correspond to Westcrown, Cheliax, or Avistan.

The very helpful man is possibly crazy but he was very helpful and his demeanor and speech seems to suggest sanity.

Is that fine with you?: It's not strictly required for the assessor to want to interview him before doing so, since her testimony would be sufficient (though not necessary) for him to be given a share, but she doesn't want to demand herself that he go through with it unless she really has to. It's not a good look.
